The Farm Awaroa is the weaving together of two sisters and two worlds, working in the right relationship with the land and the people around them.
After a lifetime working in business and hospitality and having lived overseas for many years, the two sisters returned to Aotearoa in and around 2010 to introduce their families to the wholesome Kiwi lifestyle they grew up with.
They have come together at this stage in their lives to breathe life into a dream forged after loss and the hearty realization of our current times. With a deep understanding that they are guardians of this whenua, sustainability, and food sovereignty are at the heart of their mission. The sisters have embarked on a journey of rediscovery, reconnection, and learning—not without its challenges, but with a pioneering attitude and love of being back on the land.
Working in relationship with the land and guided by the rhythm of the seasons and tides, the girls are bringing people together to reconnect to themselves, nature, and all that surrounds us.
